An exciting and educational vineyard hike at Refugio Ranch Vineyards with the Gleason family and our winemaking team led by Max Marshak. We will discuss the unique topography, microclimates, and soil types on our vineyard; our practices in producing top quality fruit; the phases of the growing season and preparation for harvest; and much more!
For those of you who want to, you'll also have the opportunity to climb to the top of the Refugio property and look out over the Santa Ynez Valley and the beautiful Santa Ynez and San Rafael Mountains. It is a breathtaking view that is unparalleled in SYV!
The hike will last approximately one hour, after which we will relax with a delicious lunch alongside Refugio Ranch new release wines, and live music from local guitarist Sam Adams by the upper pond!
