"Another year is upon us, certainly exciting times! Although, we settle into this vintage cautiously, in our fourth year of this drought. We've seen some cooler weather lately, which was welcomed to slow the vines down slightly. Fortunately, again we sing praises to our Vineyard Manager, Ruben Solorzano, who had previously begun transitioning our vines to dry farming. The vineyard looks great! Happy as can be...

In the cellar, we have already begun putting some 2014 white wines to bottle, and in the next couple of months we will begin bottling the 2013 reds. Beautiful wines with great concentration, richness, depth, and all the while maintaining lovely freshness.  There will be a few new additions to our lineup coming out soon. Stay tuned!"

Summer Featured Wines

**** 2009 Ineseño ****

A blend of Roussanne and Viognier, this wine has lovely scents of white flowers, chamomile tea, honey, almond extract, dried apricot, and plump white peach. On the palate it offers a creamy fruit salad plus a slight savory sage butter and fig paste. A powerful white, full throttled Santa Ynez with broad shoulders, yet layered with grace and charm.

We set aside a limited number of cases of the very first vintage of this quintessential RR blend to age for 4 years.  We are now making that small allotment available for purchase.  Only 39 cases available. Click HERE to order.

**** 2014 Rosé of Syrah ****

Our first rosé from the Refugio Ranch, and what a stunner!  A lovely salmon pink, our rosé is made from 100% Syrah grapes taken direct to the press for a slow and delicate extraction of color and flavor.  The wine offers exciting aromatics of rose petal, sea salt, watermelon and strawberry.  Exquisitely balanced, the complex palate brings nice weight, concentration, and roundness all while maintaining tension and energy.

Only 100 cases of this rosé were produced, and we only have 38 cases remaining.  Click HERE to order.
