Our first Refugio Ranch Wine Club shipment of the year is coming up.
Please take note of the dates below:
• Monday Feb. 9th - We will be running your credit card on file (if you need to update your card info, please do so before this date by going to www.refugioranch.com and logging into your account)
• Thursday Feb. 12th - Shipments go out to California residents for delivery on Friday Feb. 13th.
• Monday Feb. 16th - Shipments go out to all non-California residents for delivery that week via UPS.
• Saturday Feb. 21st - Wine Club Pick-up Party at the Tasting Room! If you will be in the area, we invite you to stop by the Tasting Room for live music, incredible wine, and an opportunity to speak personally with our winemaker, Ryan Deovlet. This event is exclusive to Wine Club members and a guest. If you plan on attending, please RSVP by replying to this email.
In this wine club shipment we are presenting two of our favorite wines produced at Refugio Ranch Vineyards...
For our white lovers we have the 2013 Tiradora. The original Sauvignon Blanc from Refugio Ranch, this wine leads with lemongrass, Kaffir lime leaf, orange blossom, and honeysuckle on the nose. Layered with crisp green apple and Bosc pear offering beautifully delineated fruit. This wine has pristine focus with chalky minerality and river rock, coupled with bright acidity providing exquisite texture and length.
For our red lovers we have the 2012 Petite Sirah. The only thing petite about this grape is the small size of the berries; this results in a high skin-to-juice ratio, which produces a beautifully dark, powerfully opulent wine in your glass. Bursting with a sumptuous nose of carob, black cherries, ripe blueberries, fresh cloves, and ground nutmeg, this rich, dense wine offers a mouthfilling palate of red raspberries, allspice, warm strawberry pie, wild fennel, and beautifully structured minerality.
