2011 Ineseno

The Ineseño (the name refers to the language spoken by the indigenous peoples who traditionally made the section of the Santa Ynez River near our current-day vineyard their home) is comprised of 57% Roussane and 43% Viognier. This is a luscious and seductive blend, with layers of extraordinary flavor draped over the fine structure. While the nose is redolent of ripe apricots, caramel, cardamom, and star fruit, the decadent palate shows warm peach cobbler, orange sherbet, brioche, and dried papaya; the lingering finish leads you back to the glass for another sip of this elixir.
