2018 Barbareno

Varietal Composition: Syrah 75%, Petite Sirah 25%

This wine is lifted, bright and red. There are undertones of blue fruits, a heady dose of exotic spices, and threads of savory herbs and fallen leaves. The palate attacks with tense red fruits, sweet berries, currant and a touch of charred herbs. The wine finishes fresh and dark with dusty tannins, allspice, and sanguine minerality.

Fermented in a combination of small bins, concrete, and stainless-steel fermenters. Aged for 18 months in a combination of new and neutral French oak.
